Fresh out of design school with just a few internships under her belt, native New Yorker Sandy Liang took a leap and launched her own label in 2014. The newbie designer’s downtown-cool aesthetic (influenced by her adolescent years spent on the Lower East Side) was an instant hit with the fashion crowd. These days the covetable collection includes mixed-media day dresses, reworked jeans, and the brand’s signature statement Sandy Liang jackets.
